The food here is incredible!! I have lived in London for 12 years and I have never had an eggs benny that matched the one I had here today. Great coffee, excellent service and very child friendly. The lovely girl serving us couldn’t have been more helpful and the chef always has a polite word for everyone too. Best coffee shop in the Midlands by a mile ⭐

I ordered an açai bowl for lunch after mass and it was really runny I also asked for extra sauce and. didn’t receive that unfortunately.i have been to the cafe multiple times and have enjoyed my experience with the service i received before i have to say i was really disappointed to see the portion size and quality of my bowl I would 100% come back again to this gorgeous historical cafe the staff are fantastic and it is ran very well i just wanted to share my experience with the hope that it will not happen again ❤️😄 update: i ordered a açia bowl again for take away and i was disappointed to see how little was in it the bowel was less then half filled and it was very runny i have noticed when i order an açia bowl to eat in the quality is better but for that price id expect more than what i got especially since it was just an açia bowl

Response from the owner

Hi Ciara,

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and for your continued support at 1920. We’re really sorry to hear that your açaí bowl was not up to the standard you’ve experienced with us before, particularly regarding consistency, portion size and the extra sauce being missed.

We genuinely appreciate you bringing it to our attention as feedback like this helps us to improve and make sure we maintain the quality and experience we pride ourselves on. It means a lot to hear your kind words about the café, the staff and atmosphere despite your disappointment.

We hope to welcome you back soon and give you the experience your should have received.
